Our first stop will be the Tamborine Mountain Distillery was founded in 1993 by Michael and Alla Ward, and is the third oldest Distillery in Queensland. It was also the first allowed a Distillery License in over a hundred years by the State Government. Originally set up to use just the fruit and plants from their own orchard, however the business soon got quite successful and outstripped its own orchard. A quarter of a century later, and with well over 300 international awards under their belts, the Wards had become the most awarded Australian Distillery and Liquor brand in the new millennium.
A short drive will bring us to the Witches Falls Winery is one of Queensland’s largest wine producers, all Witches Falls’ products are made on site, allowing us to closely monitor every step of the wine-making process. Innovation, a meticulous attention to detail, and a respect for minimal intervention are combined in careful balance to make up the Witches Falls philosophy. The team, led by chief winemaker Jon, have exceptional skills and a wealth of experience. Collectively, our team brings knowledge and experience from several Australian wine regions, as well as Burgundy, the Napa Valley, and Marlborough in New Zealand. Our wine-making process maintains many traditional techniques, utilising these methods in combination with modern, state-of-the-art procedures to produce unique wines of quality, character, and minimal intervention
Not too far up the road we find ourselves at Masons Winery aim to produce high-quality wines we all love. We offer several varieties such as Sauvignon Blanc, Shiraz and even some unusual varieties like Petit Verdot or Viognier. We love to share our wine with our guests, tell stories and teach people thing they may not know. We can’t wait to make you fall in love with wine even more than you already do. Our final stop takes us to Cedar Creek Estate from the moment you enter the tree-lined driveway, you’ll see that this is the most charming Mt Tamborine winery of all. Enjoy an entertaining wine tasting with the largest range of wines in the Hinterland, with something to suit even the most discerning palate. There restaurant is a great place to relax and slow down, with stunning views and 2 course lunch.
For various reasons wineries may not be able to take us on the day and we reserve the right to be flexible with your itinerary and change venues without notice. Look things happen! But don’t worry there will still be plenty of wine and good times
